Travel itinerary
DAY 1
SATURDAY - EASTERN SICILY
Arrival in Catania (airport or port) and check in at the hotel of the planned location (rooms available from 16:00). Before dinner, meeting with our guide/tour manager. Welcome cocktail and tour presentation. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2
SUNDAY - SIRACUSA / NOTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Syracuse to visit the historic center (Ortigia) with the Temple of Minerva and the Fountain of Arethusa, the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomie and the Ear of Dionysius. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon we continue to Noto and walk through its historic center. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
MONDAY - CATANIA / CEFALÙ
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for Catania and nice walk in its historical center. Free time at disposal. Snack with typical Catania specialties: arancino or brioches with ice cream or granita (depending on the season). We continue to Cefalù, lunch during the excursion and city tour. Free time. Departure for the Western area and check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4
TUESDAY - PALERMO / MONREALE
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the city center of Palermo and the Cathedral and the Cloister of Monreale. Lunch during the excursion. Free time in the city center*. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
* From May 29th to September 11th , 2021 free time in the center will be replaced by a swim stop in Mondello.
DAY 5
WEDNESDAY - ERICE / MARSALA / AGRIGENTO or SCIACCA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Erice**, sightseeing tour of the town, with tasting of almond paste cakes. Departure for Marsala, visit of a cooperative wine cellar with tasting. Traditional lunch during the excursion and in the afternoon departure for Agrigento with a visit at the Valley of the Temples ***. At the end, check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
** In case of road closures, making the city inaccessible, this excursion will be replaced by a visit to Trapani.
*** From 30/10/2021 to 25/03/2022 the visit of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento will be replaced with a stop in Sciacca for a walk. The overnight stay will always be provided in the area Agrigento or surroundings.
DAY 6
THURSDAY – PIAZZA ARMERINA / ACIREALE or AGRIGENTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Piazza Armerina, visit of the Roman Villa and traditional lunch during the excursion. Afterwards, departure for Acireale***, visit to the historical center and its baroque. At the end, departure for the Eastern area and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
*** From 30/10/2021 to 25/03/2022 the excursion of Piazza Armerina will be held in the afternoon instead of Acireale. In the morning there will be a visit to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
DAY 7
FRIDAY - ETNA / TAORMINA
Breakfast in hotel. Excursion on Mount Etna with ascent by coach up to 1900 mt. **** and possibility of excursion (additional fee) by 4x4 minibus and authorized guide for the visit of the main craters. Honey tasting. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon visit of Taormina and the Ancient Theatre. Free time for shopping. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
****In case of bad weather conditions, the ascent of Etna will be limited up to 700 meters with a stop in Zafferana Etnea and possibility to see the lava flow of 1992.
DAY 8
SATURDAY - EASTERN SICILY
Breakfast at the hotel and end of services.
The fee includes:
• Gran Turismo bus and Tour manager of local guide (multilingual on request) from dinner on the day of arrival to the last excursion on the day before departure.
• Full board from dinner on the 1st day to breakfast on the 8th day with meals consumed in the hotel or at external restaurants. Traditional regional menu with 4 pre-established courses.
• Drinks with meals: ¼ L wine + ½ L mineral water per person per meal and 1 coffee at the end of the meal.
• Accommodation in a 4-star hotel.
• Welcome cocktail.
• Use of audio-receiving devices for the entire duration of the tour
• Tasting of of almond paste sweets
• Visit with tasting at a wine cellar
• Catanese snack according to season
• Honey tasting
• Local guides, in case a tour manager accompanies the trip, at Valle dei Templi, Piazza Armerina, Taormina, Siracusa, Palermo e Monreale.
• Eco-tax in Syracuse, Noto, Taormina, Monreale and Palermo.
• 2 evening excursions after dinner at the location of the planned overnight stay, with bus transfer at a pre-arranged time.
The fee doesn't include:
• Transfers at the beginning / end of the tour (except for those with a travel package including the flight)
• Entrance fees, where applied, to state and private museums, monuments, galleries and archaeological sites. The Ministerial Decree in force is valid for state sites.
• Any additional eco-taxes and tourist taxes.
• Anything not expressly indicated under "the fee includes".
Important to know:
The hotels and accommodation will be communicated 7 days before departure.
When booking, it is necessary to highlight whether there are particular food intolerances. Furthermore, while limiting the possibility, the groups could be made up of tourists of different nationalities and therefore there could be explanations in multiple languages. The excursions included in the program may be subject to variations or substitutions due to adverse weather conditions and for operational reasons.

Methods of payment
When you confirm your booking, you will be asked for the indicated payment of 100 € (not refundable) and for it you will receive the first invoice.
Within 48 hours from the "Block Pricing", you will receive an email confirming your booking by the tour operator and requesting a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount.
The balance of the booking will be requested 30 days before departure.
If the confirmation is less than 30 days before the arrival, the balance of the services will be requested immediately.
