Travel itinerary

DAY 1

MILAN

Arrival at the airport and pick-up of the rental car. Arrival and check-in at the hotel in Milan followed by a vitit of Milan, world capital of fashion and design. Its gothic Cathedral and the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie where Leonardo da Vinci’s fresco ‘The Last Supper’ is to be found, are a testament to the city’s artistic and cultural heritage. Also not to be missed is La Scala opera house, cultural symbol of Milan and ranked among the world’s finest theatres for its history, architecture and performances.

DAY 2

VENICE

After breakfast departure for Venice and tour of the city. Walk around the San Marco area, where the most famous monuments in Venice are to be found: the Bridge of Sighs, Saint Mark’s Square with its Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and the church of Santa Maria della Salute. Check-in at the hotel and free time.

DAY 3

VENICE - FLORENCE

Breakfast and departure for Florence. Check-in at the hotel and tour of Florence, an atmospheric city where the past is evident at every turn, and which is generally accepted as the birthplace of the Renaissance. It is the cradle of architecture and the arts, and its historical centre has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site, bursting with churches, monuments, stunning renaissance buildings praised by poets throughout the centuries and one of the most interesting art museums in the world – the Uffizi Gallery, one of the top art galleries in Italy.

DAY 4

FLORENCE - SIENA - SAN GIMIGNANO - PISA

Breakfast at the hotel and a trip on the bus to explore the heart of Tuscany passing through the enchanting vineyards of Chianti. This unforgettable experience begins with a tour of Siena, an elegant city full of the charm of the past and considered one of the most impressive medieval cities in Italy. Afterwards lunch break in a organic wine farm for wine tasting and traditional Tuscan lunch. After lunch departure for the charming San Gimignano, a hilltop city famous all over the world for its tall towers, wonderful frescoes and numerous precious works of art, which have all withstood the march of time for centuries. And finally, a panoramic trip through the iconic Tuscan landscape to Pisa, a city with a unique atmosphere with its Piazza dei Miracoli that has been named a UNESCO heritage site and includes the famous Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, St John’s Baptistery and the Camposanto. After a short tour of the city, return to Florence.

DAY 5

ASSISI - ROME

After breakfast departure for Assisi, one of the most beautiful cities in Umbria, famed in particular for being the birthplace of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. Thanks to its enormous artistic, archaeological and historical patrimony, as well as its city centre where the Basilica of Saint Francis stands, Assisi is one of the tourist destinations with the most art in all of Italy. The Cathedral of Saint Rufino and the Basilica of Saint Clare are not to be missed. The latter overlooks a square of the same name, where you can enjoy stunning views of the valley from a 19th century terrace. In the late afternoon departure for Rome and check-in at the hotel.

DAY 6

ROME - NAPLES

Breakfast at the hotel and walking tour around the streets of the historical centre to explore the most famous squares, fountains and baroque buildings. From Trinità dei Monti by the Spanish Steps, to the spectacular Trevi Fountain, and from the incredible architecture of the Pantheon, to bustling Piazza Navona with its Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini. Departure for Naples in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and free time.

DAY 7

NAPLES - CAPRI

After breakfast transfer to the port for embarkation and departure to Capri. A landscape of wild beauty, sculpted by the wind, the sea and the genius of man. The island has a steep and very erratic coastline, the highlights of which are the famous Faraglioni - large and authentic rock cliffs - and countless caves with evocative plays of light. The most famous of these is the famous Grotta Azzurra, a historical gem inextricably linked to Capri's tourist history. In the late afternoon return to the hotel in Naples.

DAY 8

POMPEII - COSENZA - LAMEZIA TERME

After breakfast departure for Pompeii. Tour of the archaeological site which revealed the ruins of ancient Pompeii, buried beneath a layer of ash and rock during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD along with Herculaneum, Stabia and Oplonti.
After the visit, departure for the city of Cosenza. Cosenza, called by many the most beautiful city in Calabria, owes much of its charm to its excellent University, which attracts young talent from all over Calabria, and to its historic center of medieval origin, the best preserved of the major cities in the region. Walking through its streets you can still breathe the atmosphere of times gone by. At the end of the visit
departure to Lamezia Terme and check-in at the hotel.

DAY 9

TROPEA - REGGIO CALABRIA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Tropea. Tour of the stunning seaside town of Tropea, including its Norman cathedral, the noble palaces of the historic centre and the famous church of San Maria dell’Isola which dominates the coastline high on a rocky outcrop. Afterwards departure for Reggio Calabria. Walk along Falcomatà promenade, which Gabriele d’Annunzio called “the most beautiful kilometre in Italy”. Then a visit to the Ancient Greek Archaeological Museum. Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay in Reggio Calabria.

DAY 10

TAORMINA - CEFALÙ - PALERMO

Breakfast and then departure by ferry for Sicily. Arrive in Taormina, a fascinating and stunning Sicilian town famous for its Roman and Greek theatre, medieval streets, breath-taking views, wonderful beaches and fine dining. Afterwards departure for Palermo. During the trip, a brief stop in Cefalù, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Visit to the historic centre with its typically narrow medieval streets. Particularly characteristic is
the fishing village, with the old houses facing the sea. Arrival in Palermo, check-in at the hotel and free time.

DAY 11

PALERMO - MONREALE

After breakfast a tour of Palermo, capital city of Sicily which boasts centuries of history. An enjoyable walk to admire the del Capo market, with its fusion of cultures, traditions and foods. Then Piazza Beati Paoli, the cathedral, the Quattro Canti and the Pretoria fountain. During the tour you will also get the chance to try some typical dishes from Palermo. Afterwards transfer to the Norman town of Monreale to visit the cathedral, one of the most beautiful places of worship which, after Santa Sofia in Istanbul, has the largest number of byzantine mosaics in the world. Return to Palermo. Take the overnight ferry back to Naples later that evening.

DAY 12

NAPLES - ORVIETO - FLORENCE

In the morning arrival at the port of Naples. Departure to the city center to visit Naples, a city rich in beauty, history, landscapes and contradictions. The visit concentrates in the beating heart of the historical center, among the monuments not to be missed are the Umberto I Gallery, the San Carlo Theater and the Royal Palace located on the majestic Piazza del Plebiscito, one of the most symbolic places in the city. After the visit departure for Florence. Before arriving in Florence, visit at Orvieto, a beautiful city on a tuff hill. Visit of the historic center with its gates, walls and narrow streets that open onto large squares and the famous St. Patrick's Well. Arrival, check-in at the hotel and overnight in Florence.

DAY 13

FLORENCE - CINQUE TERRE

Early morning start for a full day trip to the Cinque Terre: the five towns of Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso perched breathtakingly on the sheer cliffs are UNESCO world heritage sites. A magical tour along the rugged coast of the Cinque Terre which includes transfers, guided tour in the beautiful towns, as well as lunch and a panoramic boat ride along the coast (weather permitting). Return to Florence in the evening.
*Excursion may be as part of a group. From 1st November to 31st March the boat trip is not available, therefore the tour will take place by train. This tour is not suitable for those with limited mobility. You are advised to wear comfortable shoes. Young children are not permitted.

DAY 14

GENOA - MILAN

Breakfast at the hotel then departure to visit Genoa, known as the most English city in Italy. A walk through fascinating narrow alleyways leading to majestic open squares such as Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice Opera House. The city has conserved much of its seventeenth century splendour, when Genoese noble families were at the height of their wealth and power.
In the afternoon departure for Milan. Check-in in hotel and free time.

DAY 15

MILAN

Breakfast at the hotel, drop off of the rental car at the airport. Check in for the return flight.

- Car rental Group B or C for 15 days, airport charges; vehicle traffic charges; one way free; unlimited mileage; elimination of liability for damage caused by the customer to the rented vehicle (excluding glass parts, internal parts of the vehicle, wheels, sills, lower part of the vehicle); VAT and taxes.

Note: At the time of booking is required copy of driver's license and credit card to guarantee the designated driver. Excess hours: there is a tolerance of 30 minutes beyond which will be charged an additional day of car rental.

   The fee doesn't include:

HOTEL: overnight stays will be provided in the indicated hotels or in similar hotels. During the periods of national holidays, religious holidays, events and trade fairs, overnight stays could be provided in similar hotels but in different areas.
The hotels could be 4 star hotels in a non central area to facilitate parking and to avoid possible ZTL.

EXCURSIONS AND TASTINGS: the excursions and tastings may be subject to variations in case of unavailability of the same. In the event that this condition occurs, the excursions and tastings will be replaced with another type.

   Methods of payment:

When you confirm your booking, you will be asked for the indicated payment of 100 € (not refundable) and for it you will receive the first invoice.
Within 48 hours from the "Block Pricing", you will receive an email confirming your booking by the tour operator and requesting a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount.
The balance of the booking will be requested 30 days before departure.
If the confirmation is less than 30 days before the arrival, the balance of the services will be requested immediately.
